For the confirmed attendees
Since its potluck, each team mus choose 1 category and bring at least 3 items (??) from the category. Teams are allowed to purchase items outside their category only if they fulfil the 3 items criteria. (mwahahhhahaha)

1) Whatever-BALLS - Group 5
2) MEAT (like slices of chicken/pork/beef) - Group 4 (Zhen: Serene if u buying from wet markets rite, pls remember the price hor..)
3) Seafood (Diana: slices of fish/prawns/sotong etc..and CRAB.. but optional?) - Group 3
4) DRINKS + ICE (Diana suggest Jeff prepares this so he can put in fridge.. and ready to drink anytime) - Group 1
5) Vegetables & clear soup(including beancurd(dao pok)/ mushrooms etc..) - Group 2 (dao pok with clear soup??)

i think i can bring the BALLS..
-fishballs/sotong balls/mushroom balls/crabmeat balls..etc..etc..
maybe can split loh...

stock.. i think ntuc or somewhere got sell those soups lor.. jus buy those herbal chicken or SOMETHING LIKE DAT.. open.. put the packet in.. cook for a while.. (while we prepare the stuff) then pour the soup into the steamboat.. wait.. then ok liao.. i try b4..
Potluck mahh.. ok it'll be tis way, we have one focal category then u r allowed to buy anything ELSE dat u see interesting and wanna buy lor..
e.g. i buy veggies, see the beef looks cool in steamboat, can buy a bit of beef oso.. something like dat lahh.. or if u think there will surely be not enuff golden mush, can buy oso.. (i think golden mush a bit hard to find during CNY.. have to stock 1st..)

main idea is, the 5 confirmed teams, aka us, buy for 9 ppl only. The rest if they joining, they have to bring something to contribute.. skali we buy for 14 ppl then they all pangseh us.. jeff is gonna stock 5 ppl food in his fridge lor..

how come the soup stock must bring one? I tot throw in chicken cubes can lia. If wan more authentic one must use the chicken bones to boil and boil and boil the whole bloody day.
